While in the middle of intense fighting the girls alarm on her watch went off.
The girl looked down at her watch giving Sonic and open shot.
Sonic took the shot and sent the girl and the chaos emerald flying.
Sonic quickly grabbed the emerald before it crashed to the ground.
"Whew...That was close."Sonic said sitting down inspecting the chaos emerald.
He then her struggled grunts.
Sonic looked to his right and found the girl hanging off the side of the roof.
He walked over to the girl.
"Need help?"He teased.
The girl just shot him a dirty look.
Sonic sighed then stretched out his hand.
The girl ignored his hand at first.
"Come on."Sonic said.
The girl reluctantly took Sonic's hand.
Sonic pulled the girl back up on top of the roof.
"Thank you..."The girl said quietly.
Sonic looked into the girl's eyes.
The looked so familiar to him.
The girl started to walk away.
Sonic grabbed the girl's arm and pull her towards him looking into her eye's once more.
"What are you doing?"The girl said struggling.
But then she became calm under Sonic's touch.
Sonic slowly began to take the girl's mask off.
Before even getting to the girl's chin the girl reacted.
"What do you thing you're doing?"The girl asked.
"Well...I...Uh..."Sonic was at a loss for words.
"Who are you?"Sonic finally asked.
The girl's watch alarm went off again.
The girl took another look at her watch.
She let out a sigh.
Then bursted out into a sprint toward the edge of the roof she jumped off the roof and before hitting the ground her flying contraption caught her and she took off into the sky.
Sonic just watched the girl then slowly made his way back to Tails and Knuckles.
Once Sonic was back in the workshop he threw the chaos emerald to Knuckles.
"Good you got it back."Tails said happily.
Sonic didn't say anything he went to an empty recliner and flopped into it.
Knuckles and Tails looked at each other then walked over to Sonic.
"Sonic...?"Tails asked concerned."What's wrong?"
Sonic thought for a minute.
"What...If Amy isn't dead?"

The girl made it back to the secret base.
Once inside the base the girl took off her mask reveling her long pink hair tied back.
"I hate this thing."The girl said throwing the mask on the ground.
The girl enter a very brightly light room.
The room was filled with lots a machines,a desk,and two chairs.
The girl noticed someone was in the chair but couldn't see who because the person was face the wall.
"You didn't retrieve the emerald did you,Amelia?"The person in the chair said.
"Well...Not exactly..."
The person quickly turned around to face Amelia.
"What do you mean not exactly?!"He yelled.
The person in the chair was a dark brown hedgehog with crimson eyes.
"I almost had it."Amelia started."But something got in the way."
"What do you mean?"The hedgehog asked with anger.
Amelia didn't say anything.
The hedgehog sighed.
"Do you want to know who you are?"
"Yes of course I do!"Amelia yelled.
"Well as I have said before that emerald is the key."The hedgehog said.
