SonAmy:Crazy Life 2

All the lights were out in Amy's room,except the tiny lamp by her bed.Amy was propped up against the wall reading one of her favorite books.When all the sudden she heard the sound a door creak open.
"Hello?"Amy called out closing her book.
There was no answer.Amy pulled the covers off her legs and got out of bed to investigate.She quietly walked down the hallway,not wanting to wake anyone, and came to any oak door.She opened the door an peaked inside.The walls inside were painted light blue with clouds and lush green rolling hills.In the air there were red airplanes soaring to far away places and on the green hills were trains.And on the right side of the room was a small red bed shaped like a sports car and in the bed was a small purple hedgehog.Amy quietly walk to the small hedgehogs bedside and kissed his forehead.
"I love you Daniel,"She said quietly.
As Amy turned to leave she saw a dark figure on the other side of the room.The figure look familiar.
"Shadow?"Amy asked.
The figure was quiet for a minute then let out a soft chuckle.The figure moved closer to her and then got close enough for Amy to tell who it was.Amy bursted into tears.
"Sonic?Is it really you?"She asked in between sobs.
"Hey Ames,"He said softly.
Amy quickly grabbed Sonic to make sure he did not leave her again.Sonic let a few choking chuckles and then lifted his hands to her face then kissed her.It was like when they were younger,full of love and passion.
"I have to go,"Sonic said softly as their lips parted.
"What?"Amy said looking into his eyes with tears.
Sonic gave her a smile and began to disappear.
"No Sonic don't leave me again!"
"I will always be with you Ames,"Sonic said before he completely disappear.
Amy fell to her knees a loudly sobbed.
"Sonic!"
"Wake up!" A voice yelled.
Amy's eyes snapped open and found herself back in her bed.
"Mom wake up!" Daniel yelled again as he hopped into her bed and began to jump.
"I'm up,I'm up,"Amy chuckled as she sat up in her bed.
"Mom this is going to be the best day ever!" Daniel said as he continued to jump.
"Oh yeah and why's that?"
"Because it's my birthday,Mom!"
"Oh is it?"Amy playfully grabbed Daniel's leg making him onto the bed, "I had no idea,"Amy joked as she began to tickle her son.
"Mom stop," Daniel said in between laughs.
Amy didn't let up.
"Mom,I can't breath,"He said in between laughs again.
"How old are you?"She asked.
"Ten,"
"I can't hear you!"
"Ten!"He said louder.
"That's right,"Amy said as she stopped tickling Daniel,"My little boy is turning ten,"
"I'm not little any more!"Daniel said standing up and stretching out his arms.
Daniel was only about three feet and the smallest kid in his 5th grade class.
"That's right,"Amy said scooping him up in a hug and kissing him,"Now go get dress for school I'll get your breakfast ready,"
"Aw Mom do I have to?It's my birthday,"Daniel whined.
Amy set Daniel on his feet.
"Even big boys like you still need to go to school,now get,"She said gently smacking him on the butt.
"Ugh,"Daniel moan walking out of his mom's room.
Amy smiled and put on her purple robe and walk down to the kitchen.
Daniel walked into his room and removed his superman pajamas and replaced it with a red sweatshirt the was too big and a pair of jeans that were also to big.Daniel then walked over to his dresser and opened his bottom drawer opened a small mahogany box and grabbed something.But before he pulled it out he looked around to make sure no one was watching him.The coast was clear and he pulled it completely out.It was the picture of his father.
"It's my birthday Dad,"He said with a smile,"It's OK you're not here,I know you have stuff you have to do so I will tell you all about it when you come home,"
Daniel kissed the picture and placed it back into the box in his drawer then close it.He stood up and grabbed his lucky grey hat that was on top of his dresser and placed it on his head.He walked up to his mirror in his room and looked at himself.
"Somethings not right here..."He said to himself.
He grabbed the brim of his had and turned it 180 degrees and his short purple bags hung out of the small opening on the back of the hat.
"Much better," He said.
He then ran back to his dresser grabbed his sling shot stuffed it into his pocket and ran out of his room toward the kitchen.When he got to the kitchen he saw his mom at the stove and Tails,Mina and Knuckles at the table.
"Morning Daniel,"Mina said sweetly.
"It's not Daniel anymore,Aunt Mina,It's Dash!"Daniel said with confidence.
"Daniel,mind your manners,"Amy said.
"Yes,Mom,"
"Dash?"Mina said with a chuckle.
"Where did you come up with Dash?"Knuckles asked.
"The kids at school call me that,"Daniel said as his mother set down a plate of eggs and sausages in front of him.
"And why do they call you that sweetie?"Mina asked as she took a sip from her coffee.
"Because I'm really fast,"Daniel replied as he started to scarf down his breakfast.
"How fast are you?"Knuckles asked with a smile.
"Really fast!"Said with his mouth full.
"Daniel!"Amy yelled at his rude manners.
"Sorry,"
"So what do you want for your birthday,Daniel?"Tails asked.
"Well..."
What Daniel really wanted to tell them was that he just wanted his father to be there with him to celebrate his birthday but every time Daniel brought up his father around his mother she would grow silent or even sometimes angry so he decided not to bring up his father around his mother.So Daniel just told him:
"I skateboard,"Daniel said with a smile.
"A skateboard huh?"Tails said with a smile.
"Yeah,"
Amy looked at the digital clock on the stove.It read 7:50.
"Daniel hurry up and get your shoes on you're going to miss the bus,"Amy said.
"Ok,"He said swallowing his last bit of eggs rushing to get his shoes.
Amy went into the living room and grabbed his book bag.Mina stood up and followed her into the living room.
"Is everything OK,Sweetie?"Mina asked.
"Yeah,Everything is fine,Why?"
"Because when something has upset you,you get quiet,and you are being very quiet,"
"I had another dream about him,"Amy said shoving some of Daniel school supplies into his bag.
"Oh honey,"Mina hugged Amy.
"I don't know what to do,the dreams are happening more than ever,"Amy said getting teary eyed.
"Well maybe it's a sign,"Mina said optimistically.
"I hope so,"
Daniel came running back down the stairs.Amy rubbed the tears from her eyes and her and Mina walked back into the kitchen.Daniel was putting on his coat and Amy handed him is book bag.
"Bye Mom,"Daniel said opening the door.
"Ah Ah,"Amy said bending down and pointing to her cheek.
"Aw Mom,"
"Daniel you kiss your mother,"AMy said with a slight smile.
Daniel gave her a quick smile then ran out the door into the cold autumn.
"Bye Mom,Bye Aunt Mina,"yelled as he turned the corner and headed toward the bus stop.
"He's just like him,"Mina said with a giggle.
"Yeah,"Amy said smiling.
